Unprincipled
The opening title for the TV show "The Unprincipled" is about the Patriarshy Pond district — a posh and trendy central area home to the rich and powerful, often compared to London’s Soho.
As this area is quite recognizable, it was crucial to create backgrounds that truly resemble the original locations. We used Google Street View and photos as reference points to model 3D panoramas and houses of Patriarshy Pond.
This approach pushed the entire visual style to a kind of cartoon-realistic look: our characters closely resemble their actor counterparts. Over 30 side characters, including pets, were created for street, nightclub, and rooftop party scenes. This intro became a fast trip through the intrigues and embarrassing situations of the show’s many storylines.
